Version 2.13 released!

  • Combined 32/64 bit version, supports Win 98SE/ME/2k/XP/MCE/2003/XP64 and Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8.x/Windows 10 x86/x64
  • Minor update. Now Windows 10 is officially supported, even though it has been working all along.

Changes since version 2.12:

  • Workaround for a bug in the Windows 8/8.1 Bluetooth audio driver (causing BSOD when device is opened twice). This bug seems to have been fixed in Windows 10.
  • Improvement: UI response time and driver (re-) start time should be a lot snappier now.
  • Fix: Some Application Verifier errors should be gone.

Hello, and thank you for your generosity in the form of this applet/driver-ware to improve connectivity between Ableton 10 Live! and other various and assorted audio devices, in my case, said audio device is a Behringer U-Phoria UM2, 2 Channel Audio Interface.

This is not my first attempt to this marriage of devices. I have had very limited success, but after reading many other’s comments I am trying this not-so-extraordinary union once again.

I don’t understand why the desired result of running an external instrument into my Windows Laptop isn’t automatic? At times I think I can hear sound leaking through.

Please post here if help is available or PM me on SoundCloud, I am the musical project known as “The Somber Kiosk”. Thank you.

This feature has been removed in version 2.17!Modern PC hardware does not require multi buffering. This is why the “Kernel Buffers” option has been removed. “Buffer Offset” has changed functionality now and no longer appliues to the “Hardware Buffer” option. If hardware buffering is disabled, this control lets you add up to two more buffers

Force WDM driver to 16 Bit (obsolete)

This feature has been removed in version 2.17!The only purpose it did serve – more than 20 years after its introduction – was to confuse users needlessly. This option only has an effect if the supported bit depth of the WDM driver is larger than 16, but less than 24. Some devices report e.g. 20
